The community center has events several times a week (Bingo, Yoga, Kids Arts & Crafts) - Pick up a calendar at either park gate or marina. Or use the tennis, shuffleboard, or sand volleyball court there. You can get drinking water from the community center well too. The town of Wilberforce is nearby for groceries, a library, and general store. On the way to Algonquin Park, there's also horseback riding.The Haliburton Highlands offers many beautiful hiking trails, canoeing, boating, fishing, arts and culture, scenic cycling, golfing, horseback riding, mineral deposits and geocaching.
