Growing up on a farm in Southwestern Ontario, I inherited my father's passion for rocks, trees, and water. When I turned 14, my parents and I moved to the North Shore of Lake Huron, where I spent many joyful hours exploring the outdoors, boating, and camping. I fell in love with the beauty of the north and the peace it offered.After marrying my wonderful wife, Elsie, we settled in Carling Township, just north of Parry Sound. We've been blessed with three amazing children, Jordan, Joyce, and James, and we treasure our time together as a family, whether we're out on a boat ride, hiking trails, or simply enjoying the breathtaking surroundings this area is known for. Since our oldest son, Jordan, has started kindergarten, we have moved to Seguin Township to be closer to our church's private school, Otter Lake Christian School.I enjoy giving back to my community in various ways. I admin a few local Facebook groups for residents of Carling and Seguin Townships, as well as a Rental Listings Group for Rentals in the Parry Sound Area. Most winters, my family and I volunteer with Mennonite Disaster Service to rebuild homes across Canada and the US that have been devastated by natural disasters, such as forest fires and floods.Prior to my career in real estate, I spent a decade as a residential contractor, undertaking a wide range of projects, including renovations, roofing, and new builds. This background has proven incredibly valuable when showing properties to clients, particularly when dealing with vacant land or homes in need of renovation. I've gained valuable skills and experience that allow me to provide insightful advice to my clients.I take great pleasure in helping clients find their dream properties, whether they're looking for a vacant lot, a townhouse, a cottage on Georgian Bay, or an investment property.
