Monika grew up on Vancouver Island where she has a deep appreciation for community and the natural outdoors.  However, she left to move to the drier climate and to be much closer to her family.  While watching her father (Marten Holst) run a successful real estate business, Monika felt her passion to be a realtor early in life.  Proudly carrying on the Holst legacy, she became licensed in 1995 working alongside her father.  In the course of her career, she has learned the real estate industry inside-out and from many perspectives.  Monika is an expert in real estate relationships from her experience as a real estate conveyancer in a law firm and her time as an office manager and senior conveyancer in a real estate brokerage.  Combined with her extensive sales experience as a licensed realtor, she has unique and impressive values to offer to her clients.  Monika chose eXp Realty so that she could leverage her value to her clients to the absolute maximum.  She is backed by an extensive administrative team, a massive realtor network, innovative technology, on-going education, and proven systems. When Monika is not actively going above and beyond for her clients, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, exploring the natural beauty of Kamloops and the many outdoor activities it has to offer from hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, boating, and golfing.  Since moving back, Monika is excited to engage with her community, volunteering with charities that she is passionate about, rekindle old friendships, and make new connections.
