Sean McRae

My name is Sean and I pride myself on being dedicated, honest, reliable and really someone that people can turn to and feel comfortable with. The latter being an important feature when it comes to dealing with not only the largest investment for most people, but often times the most sentimental. I live and breathe real estate. I cover all of Ottawa, Canada and I’m not afraid to get a little dirty in the outskirts. I have lots of experience as I’ve owned a General Contracting company (what to look for and how to improve a space) & I currently own Black River Homes, a licenced Tarion custom home building company. I am also a property investor so I can help if you’re interested in flipping or holding. I took on my first business venture at 21 when I started my own company and began producing music across North America, learning rather quickly the harsh realities of business. Within 7 years, I had representation and I was selling music across the world. However, it was time to move on and I used my savings to open the General Contracting company here in Ottawa which has now lead to building custom homes. The experience and knowledge has helped me leaps and bounds with real estate, whether it be knowing what to look for when walking into a home or having a keen creative eye as to how someone could improve or transform a space. I have worked in a few cities but Ottawa has always been my home. This is where I was born, where I grew up, where I went to school (Carleton University by the way) and where I now raise my family. I love this city, simple as that.
